Line Jumper Fast Pass
+$15 Upgrade

Spend less time waiting outside the Hotel- and more time inside getting haunted.
The Line Jumper Fast Pass upgrade, gives you priority access past the main general admission wait line for the Hotel of Horror, getting you to the beginning of your journey faster.
Once you complete Hotel of Horror, your night continues toward Altered Nightmares. There is no second general admission entrance line to jump.
Instead, all guests pause briefly between the two attractions while we reset the timing and properly space each group before sending them onward.
Think of it as giving the nightmare ahead of you a little room to breathe before we send you in after it.
The short transition is part of the pacing of your journey- not another traditional wait line.
In short: your line jumper fast pass gets you past the main wait at the beginning of your visit. From there, the hotel takes care of the rest.
Line Jumper Fast Pass upgrades are not always sold online because crowds and wait lines can vary throughout the season. If the Line Jumper Fast Pass is not available online on the night you have chosen- that does not exactly mean it is not actually available on-site. When you arrive, our team can advise you whether the upgrade is likely to make a meaningful difference to your experience. That way, you never pay extra for a faster line when the regular wait is already manageable.
We would rather help you make the right choice-especially earlier in the season, than sell you an upgrade you do not need. However later in the season as the volume of crowds build, the Line Jumper Fast Pass is available as an upgrade to your attraction tickets online as well.
Line Jumper Fast Pass: Valid for the main Hotel of Horror entrance line. Following Hotel of Horror, all guests participate in a brief timing reset before entering Altered Nightmares; this transition is not a second general admission wait line.

Wear Something Born Inside the Hotel
The artwork featured on our Hotel of Horror apparel wasn’t pulled from a catalog or handed to us by some distant design company.
It was created by one of our talented Haunters.
The design is original Hotel of Horror artwork, created by someone who knows these halls from the inside- and our apparel is printed locally, keeping another piece of the process close to home.
So, when you leave wearing the Hotel, you’re taking home something with a little more story behind it: original art created by one of the people who helps induce the screams and brings the haunting to life.
The tickets get you into the Hotel quick.
The wristband gets you the spooky goods.
So don’t lose your wrist band- make sure it is on your person before entering the attraction.
The Hotel may remember you- but the gift shop still needs proof.

Before You Arrive
Hotel of Horror and Altered Nightmares Haunted Houses are open to the public from late September through early November typically on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings. We are also open on Halloween Night no matter what day of the week our favorite holiday falls on.
Visit our CALENDAR page for the full schedule of operating dates, ticket times, and any special event nights.
Rain will not stop the scares. Hotel of Horror and Altered Nightmares are fully indoor attractions, so your visit can continue as planned.
Much of the queue line is also protected from weather, with some waiting areas indoors, others under a tent, and a large awning over the box office windows. You may still be exposed to rain while walking from the parking areas or during unusually long overflow lines.
You are welcome to bring an umbrella for the walk from your car, but umbrellas are not permitted inside the attractions. They may be left at the box office and picked up after your journey.
Hotel of Horror and Altered Nightmares are recommended for guests ages 13 and older. Our attractions are designed to be intense, with amplified scares, mature themes, dark environments, loud sounds, and disturbing visual effects.
Every guest is different, and parents and guardians know their child best. Some younger guests enjoy the experience, while some adults decide it is not for them. Please use your best judgement before purchasing tickets.
We have seen fearless young guests high- five monsters- and grown adults discover they may have been talked into coming to the haunted house.
Wear comfortable clothing and sturdy, closed toe shoes that are ready for adventure. While you are visiting a former grand Victorian-Era hotel, this is not the evening for a pristine gala outfit.
Please avoid high heels, flip flops, bedroom slippers, and slides. You will be walking through detailed scenes where the monsters play- so dress for uneven movement, dark spaces, and excitement.
Pennsylvania autumn weather can change quickly, so layers are recommended. We have seen guests shedding layers in the queue line before the action even begins- perhaps it is the weather... perhaps it's the nerves.
Hotel of Horror and Altered Nightmares are both longer-than-average haunted houses.
Hotel of Horror typically takes 25-30 minutes, while Altered Nightmares typically takes 20-25 minutes. Together, your general admission combo ticket includes roughly an hour of walkthrough entertainment.
These estimates do not include wait times. Your total visit may vary based on crowd levels, the time of the season, your group's pace, and brief operational resets between attractions.
If you purchased tickets online, please arrive 15-30 minutes before your selected ticket time. Timed ticketing helps us organize guests arrivals; they do not guarantee entry at the exact time listed. Timed ticketing purchases do not eliminate attraction wait lines.
ALL GUESTS MUST visit the box office, including guests who purchased tickets online. Your online ticket confirmation is exchanged at the box office for your attraction tickets.
Buying tickets at the door? Earlier in the evening is usually better. Lines tend to grow as darkness falls.
When You Arrive
Free guest parking is available on our property, directly beside the hotel. Enter through the main parking-lot entrance off Cherry Valley Road; the hotel will be on your left upon entering.
Parking attendants are on site to help guide guests through the lot and assist with finding a space.

After you check in at the box office- head to the queue line just to the right of the box office windows.
The exact queue path may change based on crowd levels. On slower nights, guests may enter through the indoor queue; on busier nights, the line may extend into the outdoor queue areas.
Follow posted directional signs and staff guidance as you make your way toward the attractions.
After parking, please head to the box office to check in. ALL GUESTS MUST visit the box office, including guests who purchased tickets online. Your online ticket confirmation is exchanged at the box office for your attraction tickets.
From the parking lot, look toward the Hotel for the gigantic tree growing from the graveyard garden. Follow the pathway through the garden to the box office queue line. The windows are brightly lit, with a large TICKETS banner mounted above them.

Wait times vary by night, arrival time, weather, and crowd size. Because Hotel of Horror believes in spacing groups to try to achieve the best experience for each group, there may be a wait before you enter.
Guest who arrive earlier in the evening often experience shorter wait lines. Wait times usually increase later in the evening, especially on peak October Nights.
We do our best to keep the queue line moving, and our team can give you the most current wait-time estimate when you arrive. Line Jumper Fast Pass upgrades may also be available at the box office on busier nights.
