While your real journey to the Hotel of Horror will be by car, we hope this fictional railway transforms the planning of your visit into an experience all its own.

A Note From the Station Master
Long before today's highways carried travelers to the Hotel of Horror, the Lake House Hotel welcomed guests arriving by rail. The original train stop has long since disappeared, and the tracks have surrendered to time, leaving only the quiet rail grade winding through the forest beneath a canopy of new timber growth.
The Victorian Railway featured throughout our Adventure Atlas is our tribute to that forgotten chapter of local history. While the railway now departs only within the imagined legends of our Adventure Atlas, it is inspired by the very real railroad that once brought visitors to our doorstep generations ago.
Today, your own adventure begins with a drive from your hometown to Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania. As you arrive at the Hotel of Horror, history, imagination, and Halloween tradition come together—allowing an old railway to carry travelers once more, if only through story.
